Lovehate by The- Dream on Apple Music. A legend in the making! Aside from his very grown up lyrics, his vocal ability is simply amazing. His range is out of this world. He seems to be the Prince of our generation, b/c his music pushes the envelope. If you cringe at straight forward yrics, I suggest the clean version. The Dream delivers his own debut, Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter. Fabolous drops a nice guest appearance, as The Dream combines a club . It's a nice blend that works well. I Luv Your Girl: Bass heavy, light keys blend smoothly as The Dream's hook is a little nasally. When he sings, it isn't truly nice crooning, more of spurts that has an irritating . The track is nice, but it doesn't flow, as his singing comes in and out that bring the track down. Fast Car: This is more of Dream's style as this fast paced feel good vibe rides out nicely. Club ready and all about a good time, Dream's soft croons, catchy hooks work well. Strong track here that is more of his style. The Dream Love Hate (RapGodFathers com). 05-The-Dream - She Needs My Love-RGF.mp3 - 6.52 MB; 06-The-Dream. Love Hate is the debut album of American recording artist and producer The-Dream, released on December 11. The-Dream explained the title, Love Hate. The hook is weak but the lyrics aren't bad. The track just doesn't grab your attention that well, it was decent but gets a bit tiresome. She Needs My Love: Starts out a little slow with minimal production then builds at the hook with synths and nice hook. The track works because of the unique sounds in production and Dream simply sings lightly over. Strong hook that makes the track. Falsetto: Tricky Stewart's midtempo has some decent production, but it showcases Dream's talent. Here his high pitched falseto goes into action at the hook . Playin In Her Hair: Filled with the same club . Another keyboard vibing production, as the hook was average. Relaxing track that was decent. Find a The-Dream - Love/Hate first pressing or reissue. Purple Kisses: A slow midtempo that is a sensual sexy track. Soft and smooth hook, the track is extremely sexual. A Prince styled track that is nice. Ditch That: With a club beat, synth bounces and unique sounds created by Tricky Stewart. I have to say I wasn't feelin this track, he doesn't sing particularly well and it just isn't a great club track. Luv Songs: Synthetic production that blends smoothly, as Dream's singing works here and sounds good. The hook isn't bad and the track is one of the highlights. Livin A Lie: Radio friendly cut that could blow up, as this collab between Dream and Rihanna is beautifully done. Rihanna shines, Dream plays buckup role here. Nice duet that builds and works well, uptempo and feel good. Mama: Production was nice with calm piano keys and strings, but the song is completely ruined, due to the electronic affects added to his voice. It sounds totally no heartfelt and mechanical that the track doesn't make the connection its supposed to. Track has the potential but the whole electronic voice fad that is going around R& B singers, ruined the track. Well Def Jam's newest R& B star delivers a mediocre, slightly weak album. Don't get me wrong, there are some tracks here that are nice and some that aren't bad, but as a whole, it just isn't as satisfying as it should be. Fabolous drops a solid appearance and Dream's catchy . Highlights other than the lead single are . As Dream described his album, . The album was a decent debut, but could have been better, supposedly the album was written and recorded in only nine days, maybe next time they will spend a little longer with a more polished and stronger product.
